Husband Rene
My husband came home from the hospital on the 30th. He is doing just great. We hope that it continues to go that way. If any of you have any advice on how you dealt with things right at first or any helpful hints I sure would love to hear from you. I want to make sure that I am doing everything right for my husband.
Thanks,
Sandra
SANDRA.......JUST MAKE SURE THAT HE GETS WHAT HE NEEDS. HE NEEDS TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME AND NOT RUSH ANYTHING. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS AND BROTH.....WALK WALK AND WALK......THAT PROMOTES HEALING AND HELPS NOT TO HAVE BLOOD CLOTS. IF HE HAS ANYTHING HE FEELS THAT IS NOT RIGHT HE IS TO CONTACT THE DR. RIGHT AWAY. AS FOR YOU, JUST HELP HIM IF HE NEEDS IT. HE WILL BE SORE OF COURSE, BUT HE NEEDS TO WATCH HIS INCISIONS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT LEAKING BADLY. HE IS NOT TO OVER DO IT!!! BUT WALKING IS GREAT FOR HIM..........NO LIFTING~~~~~~~
FOLLOW THE DR.'S ORDERS~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!
I WISH HIM ALL THE BEST AND WILL BE HERE IF YOU NEED ME.
TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND~
MUCH LOVE AND HUGS

Hi Sandra,
First off, glad your hubby did okay and he's home now, it's gonna get easier every day for him, and yes, just motivate him to walk walk walk as much as he can. I used to need a little help with getting up the first few days, as my stomach muscles were very upset with me. Otherwise, I could do most things myself. He'll let you know when he needs help, and hopefully, in a few more weeks he'll feel like his old self again, only lighter
Good luck and best wishes to both of you!
Andrea
