1st fill on Aug 2

Just wondering if anyone was able to eat normal foods 2 1/2 weeks post op. Just started testing different things yesterday. Ive lost a total of 13 pounds so far. Im scared to try different things... scared that I cant control my eating once I start again. I stay hungry, and everything Ive tried is going down well... almost too well! Paula

Paula, I can only tell you that our Pastor of our church is from Lake Charles and he had the band in May - he is losing quite well - but I do know that after about three weeks after his surgery we were eating at Piccadilly and he could eat quite well. Now that he has had a fill - he is eating considerably less. Let me know if you are interested in contacting him - as I am sure he would be glad to speak with you. Carla

Hi Carla, thanks for the reply. Sure, if you dont mind giving me his name, Id like to talk to him. I heard Lake Charles was going to start a support group. Not sure if its started or not. I also heard that the fee was $25 to attend. Have you heard anything about it? paula
