Halfway there!!

I was starting to get discouraged about my savings process, then I realized that I am half-way to my goal of saving for my WLS. I have been trying to get the lap-band since it was approved. My insurance will not pay for it and I can't finance it. I finally found a great program that was affordable and in the State of LA, so I started saving, little by little. By December, hopefully, I should be able to have the surgery and join ya'll on the losing side! I often dream of the life that I am going to have once this process is over and I know many people wish to have the surgery and cannot. It is hard for me with three kids, but I feel like I can do it. So this post is to basically encourage others, while giving myself encouragement. We can do it!!

Raja, Congrats to you for wanting to do something for yourself!!! My prayers are with you. I was lucky...my insurance covered 80%. Me and my husband had the surgery done. My sister on the other hand had her surgery 2 yrs ago and did not have coverage so they went get a loan...she wanted it bad!!! She is now doing great and my brother in law calls it his "Wife Note"...(LIke car note...lol) He is so crazy!! Good luck to you on your journey!
