13 Days till Surgery !!!!!!!

Hello to Everyone,,,,,, So sorry I haven't posted in a while; computer been acting up on me. Well I have 13 days left to my surgery,I am a little nervous and excited all at the same time.But I know that I will be just fine because I have a lot of family and friends that are praying and supporting me.I also would like to thank you all for your support also.Will keep in touch with my progress. Hi there, Liz! First off, congrats on your upcoming surgery, and I'm keeping you in prayers. I know those last two weeks can be nerve wrecking. I didn't think that day would ever arrive, and now it's already been over 3 weeks ago. I kept busy by going through my closets and getting rid of everything I didn't need ( aka things I haven't worn in at least 6 months and throwing out all those ugly sweat pants LOL ), tried to clean as much house as I could while I wasn't working, and getting my bags ready for the hospital stay. I made sure I had my laptop computer, and a few DVDs for the entertainment, it really helped to have something other than cable to watch. Anyways, I was nervous up until I was wheeled into the O.R, and I kept thinking, I can still say no... but then I just thought, hey, this is my last chance at a normal life, and I've worked on this for two years, I'm not gonna chicken out. I am SO GLAD!!!! I'm already feeling so much better, and my physicians were wonderful, this has been the best decision I've made for myself. Congrats Elizabeth on being so close. I am only 4 days away and I'm really excited and very nervous all at the same time. I just read on the main message board that as of 1/1/05 Aetna, my insurance company, is no longer covering WLS. I am feeling very lucky right now! Traci
