HELLO LOUISIANA.....HERE I AM AGAIN TRYING TO GET THIS BOARD SOME ACTION. Hi Kim, Maybe between us both we can get some action going here.. I have had some questions about my own journey that I would like to see if anyone else has had. Questions like, when do hit the first plateau? Or how much protien shake should I drink a day? I noticed on this site that everyone's diet varies so much. Right now I'm on a full liquid diet and I noticed that some people are eating vegetables, and pureed foods already. To be safe, I'll stick to what my Dr's tell me. My next appointment is Aug 2 and I'm going to be at the Support meeting this Thursday night with a couple of friends. Do you go to those?

I have been lurking! I am waiting on a decision from my insurance company. The IC had requested more info, we sumitted it and it should be anyday now. I am sure that I will have plenty questions if I receive a positive answer from my IC. I hope to be on this board more often, hopefully with good news in the upcoming days!! Hello Kim. I am glad to see some action here. I come here almost everyday. I do need some help. I was wondering. Is there anything that you wish you would have known before the surgery. Were there any surprises? As you know, I am going to see the surgeon on July 20th. I want to take a list of realistic questions. Do you have any suggestions?
