Does anyone have First Health PPO?

I was denied for Lap-band surgery, I have sumitted more information that was requested and awaiting the decision. Has this happened to anyone else?

Robin, that is so funny that you should have this question, I have already answered your other post about being approved, I also have first health , but mine is an EPP, It took six months for me to get approved, and my doc said I was the first one ever. My company puts 10,000.00 lifetime max on what they will pay, how about you? Check VERY CAREFULLY and read the fine print cause my IC lied to the hospital about coverage and after my surgery, I was faced with a 38,000.00 hospital bill. keep me poste. MeLinda

MeLinda, I was told by the doctor's office that the only out of pocket would be about $2000.00. I will definitly have to call the insurace company to see what I am responsible for.
