Happy 4th weekend !!!

HI all La. loosers.... Just wanted to wish ya'll a happy 4th.... Hubbys gonna BBQ and we may do some fireworks.. not going anywhere, just going to enjoy being home. Do any of you have plans for the weekend???

My husband is out of town for a family wedding. I was supposed to have had surgery on 6/24 and elected not to go. Then my surgery was postponed until 7/22............but anyway. I'm really, really looking forward to being home by myself for a me weekend. I LOVE my DH, but I love me some alone time!!! !!! Traci

I know what you mean about ME time... I have so little of it anymore.. I love a man around the house ,but not alll the time....lol... Sorry your surgery was postponed. Mine was too.. At least yours is this month... I am afraid to get too excited about it... not til they give me another date anyway... Are you getting excited... or nervous ???

Starting to get nervous. It's less than 3 weeks away now. Melissa just asked me this question and when I wrote her back I realized I really was sort of nervous. Check out my reply to her question on the "Just Checkin In" post I started a few days ago. I see by your name it says your surgery will be 8/23. That's not right? How come your surgery was post-poned? When do they plan to issue a new date? Traci

MONEY...MONEY...MONEY !!!!!! Thet set my date for 8/2.. Had to put the car in the shop so then I was not able to have the 1300.00 by 7/30. I told them I would have the money by 8/13, but they wont confirm a date til then... THe nurse said prob the 20th or 23rd. I am ok with it.. just a bit antsy... I have a new grandbaby due 9/15 and I was planning on keeping the 13 mo old while mom was recooperating.. but I need to be healed first... lol I could always wait til after the baby but I DONT WANT TOOO !!!!! I want this surgery done yesterday ..... I went shopping today .. I need some clothes and shoes.. but nothing I can find is big enough.. and I really hate to spend any money on clothes at this point. Oh well it will happpen.. and this time next year I will wonder what i was so hyped up about...lol...

Thank you Tasha, We are grilling tomorrow.. most everyone else in the family are doing other things so it will just be a few of us... I see you had the Lap band.. How are you doing with it..
