Did you have to reschedule your surgery? I was at the WMC yesterday and I thought I heard the nurses saying that Dr. Martin's patients were going to have to be rescheduled because he was going to be on vacation longer than they thought. Melissa

YES!! It sucks! They called me on Thursday to tell me the news and I wanted to cry. I was so crabby I couldn't hardly talk to anyone. I still don't have a new date. They offered me the following Thursday but my husband is leaving that day to go home to Wisconsin for his cousin's wedding. I have to call Caroline on Monday and let her know what I want to do. I think I am going to have it Monday, July 5. It's all so complicated because I am in graduate school for the summer and I am not supposed to miss class. UGH! I could wait until class is over and have the surgery in August, but I can't bear to wait that long.

Traci, Im sorry about the wait. What did they tell you to do about the liquid diet? Do you have to stay on it, or can you get off then back on closer to the surgery date? I know it is difficult to deal with the wait but, when the time is right everything will fall into place. good luck and keep in touch Melissa
