HALF WAY THERE

Hi everyone hope everyone is doing fine.The Bill 409 has pass committee.Now it goes to the senate floor.The Bill is for insurance to pat for WLS.If everyone in Louisiana would call their Senators and ask them to vote yes on Bill 409.It would help.Thanks Sarah

The bad thing about this bill is that it is only for OPTIONAL insurance. My health insurer offers optional insurance, but my employer has opted not to take it. Therefore I am not eligible for insurance for wls. What we really need is a bill that makes it mandatory to offer the coverage instead of optional. Most insurance companies do offer the optional insurance anyway, it is just getting the employer to agree to put it on the plan that is a problem. Mary
