finally home
I am finally home after being in the hospital for a week. I was not able to be released in the normal 3 days because of all things I needed to fart lOL. MY bowels were sluggish. I was not able to eat for 5.5 days. I gained almost 30 lbs from the iv fluids.
I have lost the fluid and am officially a loser.
Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers.
Melissa

You said you were wondering if you were making a mistake or not---well let me tell you, I feel it is the best decision that I could have made for myself. I did get a lot of opposition from family & friends, but they it is all because they have not educated themselves yet.
Although, I was not 100 lbs overweight, I had several health issues, taking about 10 different pills a day. I am 8 days Post-Op RNY LAP today. I weighed 208 and when I came home on Sunday I was down to 195...today I seem to have lost another 2-3 lbs. So I am happy. I had a complication while in the hospital & had to have a 2nd surgery to correct the problem---but I felt even better after the 2nd one.
My blessings to you in your journey, write me anytime please if you need to.
