I am getting ready for surgery and need to get up to speed for all the walking. I can't take the heat outside and would like to start out with a treadmill, but can't seem to find one that doesn't cost $1,500.00 that will take someone over 350 lbs. Anybody have any good suggestions?

Debbie, I was able to find a very nice treadmill at the Goodwill in Kenner for about $50 (this one has all the different levels, speeds, etc.) You just have to keep checking as they come in. I had another one I got from the Williams Blvd. Goodwill but that's closed now. I gave that one away to someone else. I will keep an eye out for you since I am ALWAYS at Goodwill or some sort of Thrift Store. I will email you if I see one. If you want to send me your phone number I can call if I see one. They go really quickly when there's a nice one in the store. Rhonda
