First Step Taken

I went to a seminar last night with Dr. Chu in Lafayette. Everyone there was so very nice. There were some patients there also. Some who are 1 yr post op and a couple of men who were only 1 month post op. Even one of their own surgery nurses had the surgery and she was there. They told me that my insurance, FEP Blue Cross pays well and doesn't give you too much of a hassle about having tried so many different diet plans before. They are supposed to call me this morning to set up my first appointment. I am so excited. The biggest problem is going to be that it is a two hour drive every time I have to go down there. Two friends went with me and one of them has the same insurance I do and the other has no insurance. They told her they do finance the surgery. We are all three planning to go for it. I think it will help having someone so close going thru this with me.
