My surgery is in 2 weeks....Will I need someone home with me in the daytime? I live in a townhouse and am concerned about the stairs.

I think it depends on the type of surgery you are going to have. I had LapRNY and was only in the hospital for two days before coming home. I had my dad stay with me the first night, but I sent him home the next day I was feeling so good. I didn't think I needed anyone to help me. I did have someone drive me places the first few days, but I was fine after that. I had an easy go of it, so I can say I didn't need anyone. But everyone is different and you may experience more problems where you'll need someone to help you out. I'd probably have someone on "standby" just in case. Good luck!
