Is there any hope?

The one thing I want more than anything else in life is to have this surgery done. The place I work (the insurance) makes it near impossible to have this done unless you're basically on your deathbed. I make good money and can easily pay notes on this surgery. But, I am not in a position to finance a stick right now. Is there any hope for me or will I just be fat forever?

Angela, don't give up hope. Keep trying. Sometimes if you're persistent enough and have the co-morbidities, they'll approve it. I find the sqeaky wheel gets the grease. So hang in there and appeal, appeal, appeal.
