Having trouble to find or decide on the right surgeon for your wls?

if you haven't found a surgeon yet.... my doctor is doctor philip gachassin. i had surgery with him on june 26 of this year. so far, i've lost 65 pounds in just 3.5 months. i had some rough times just after surgery and doctor gachassin never left me alone. he was there with me every step of the way, and still is. i swear by him. he is the most wonderful, most caring doctor i have ever had in my 50 years. his bedside manner is out of this world excellent. everyone who has had surgery with him feels the same as i do. he truly cares about his patients and only takes two per month, so he can give each individual his personal attention. a native of lafayette, his office is located in new orleans (metairie), la. and does his surgeries at east jefferson hospital, just a couple blocks from his office. i found his charges to be reasonably low, which was good for me, considering my insurance (American Life Care) would not cover 100%. if you'd like to call for an appointment, or just talk with him over the phone....his phone number is 504-885-8318. may god bless you in your journey. rhetta domingue ( [email protected] ) galliano, la.

He was my surgeon too. Yes, his disposition is wonderful, and I love the way that when I need to speak with him or see him, I can usually schedule something within 24-48 hours. I just love it!!! I have a follow up appointment today to see him (had surgery on 10/29/03) and I am so excited for him to see how well I am doing.
