BCBS of LA ppo

Hi there, I am actually in California, but my husband's company is based in LA, and so is our insurance. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this insurance, or knows of anyone who has. So far, I think it's going to be pretty bad. We have a hard time with them on most everything. Thank you!

Your talkiing about Blue Cross-Blue Shield, I have seen them pay several times for WLS.

I have BC/BS of La PPO (my husabnd's policy). They have an ironclad exclusion. They will not cover this life saving surgery. I appealed twice and appealed to the legislature and anyone who would listen. I got a new job and now have Trustmark as my primary and BC/BS as secondary. I am now 13 days post op. Trustmark covered my surgery. Other BC/BS's will pay for this surgery but not BC/BS of La PPO. I would still call them and ask them about there policy but you can also look it up in your policy book.
