Weight Loss Surgeons who take Medicad in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge areas

Ochsner does not accept Medicaid for bariatric surgery.

Dr. Mark Dominguez in Covington DOES still accept Medicaid for patients who live in St. Tammany or Washington parish.

Their office isn't taking medicaid at all now. My sister had an appointment for June 8th. She got an email this morning from Cheryl saying they will no longer be taking medicaid.

Hi everyone new to the site! And I was on my last visit to with my primary doctor I had everything finish and in order to see dr. Dominguez. And lo and behold he's Can't See Me Now. But I found out that Tulane Hospital it is taking bariatric patients but there is also a waiting list. You have to call every month to see if they open up the way the list

They are only taking Medicaid patients who are from NOLA last I heard.

Go to the support group, sure way to get in faster. 2nd wednesday of the month at 5:30pm. 6th floor, surgery clinic. I know, I go and he did my surgery.

• Hey Leslie at what hospital is the support group located and how fast was you able to get in because i was told they have a waiting list up until the 1st of the new year

I should say how many support groups did you have to attend over there Leslie and did you have to do the 6 month diet tracking plan? I had just finished mine up when Dr Dominguez cancelled taking medicaid patients

I forgot to ask if you have an address on the location that has the support group leslie
