How Long After Getting APPROVED for Insurance did U have to Wait to Get Ur surgery?

I have 1 more Dietitian visit after my next week visit and Im wondering : Do they Submit everything same day and How long after is your appt for Surgery (after approval not from submission)

Do they accept Medicaid? Now we have to do a 6 mth dietitian visit before approval.

I believe so, i had Medicaid and Medicare as a secondary.

I might be wrong in your situation, but I think had the same thing the 6 month thing is due to your insurance it's actually 6 classes you need to attend for you insurance to consider it I went ever other week and paid cash for the classes they were $55 a class I would ask your dietitian about this mine encouraged us to do this to speed up the process.

Oh wow that's taking a while. I had my surgery in 2011 a lot has changed with the policies since then

I am doing the same thing Ocshner and Medicaid. I have my 5th appointment in November. I had wondered if I could just pay out of pocket for dietician appointments so I could get them done quicker. She has not mentioned it though. I guess I should have asked.

Girl there is not way of getting out of it. Its not mandatory by Insurance, thats their poliocy. I just found that out last month but Nov 8 is my 6 mth appt so too late to complain lol.
