108 POUNDS DOWN

I HAD SURGERY ON APRIL 9, 2012 AND ON NOVEMBER 9,2012 I WILL BE 7 MONTHS OUT AND AS OF TODAY NOVEBER 2, 2012 I AM DOWN 106 POUNDS.  I HAVE ABOUT 78 MORE TO LOSE. I WEIGHED IN IN SURGERY MORNING AT 349 POUNDS AND TODAY I AM 241 POUNDS AND BOY AM I HAPPY.  I LOOK DIFFERENT BUT MOST OF ALL I FEEL SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER. I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING.

Congratulations!!! I was sleeved on June 14th and as of today I am 91lbs down!  We have a 45lb punching bag and I can't believe I was carrying around 2 of those just 6 months ago!!! Best decision we ever made for ourselves! I have about 35 more to go and I know I can do it! So can you! New Year, new us!  

Is there a doctor that will do gastric sleeve near monroe La using my medicaid?? I really want this surgery can some one help me pls??

I don't know about Monroe, but I'm in slidell and can't find anyone that takes Medicaid. Teresa C suggested a dr at ochsner earlier so I'm hoping that works. Good luck and I hope you fun someone near you. 

The Dr. that I have found is Dr. Dominguez...He is out of Covington and he is at the North Lake Surgical  Hospital ..So In Jesus Name  he is the one .  I went to see him about a week ago and he told me he would do it , so I am constantly praying but try him out though he accepts medicaid for the gastric sleeve.

I put my name on NSS waiting list but I may call back and request the specific dr. I got in touch with ochsners main campus and that have a bariatric office. They scheduled me for the mandatory seminar July 24th. I hope something works out soon but I hate that we have such limited options.
