I am Faith, I had RNY in 2008. I live in Evangeline and work in Jennings. Any one close to me?

I have trouble with thinking that I am bigger than my true size. It sucks lol I was diagnosed with OCD with it and I am getting help.  
I am so happy I started the journey! I didn't want my children to grow up with out a mommy. My mother was murdered and my dad passed in 2006. We did invetro fertilization for our first born so I had all the motivation I needed.

I love to sing and dance. i am a social bug!
I dont make time for friends and family like I should.
I hate feet.

I'm trying to get used to my new body. I hate buying new clothes because they are too big in a week or two. We are going shopping tomorrow though.
 I have four kids not working on anymore, Had an IUD placed for that. YaY!!!


I love to sing too. not much of a dancer though.

 Hi I'm Sharie, I had RNY Sept. 2011. I live in Gonzales and I'm blessed I don't have to work. My husband is old fashion and always wanted me home to take care of the family. Now that our baby will be going to LSU in the fall, no more children to take care of. But now I've been blessed with 3 grand babies.  I'm very involved in my Church, I'm the Pastor's secretary.  And my husband is the sound guy.

Everyone tells me how good I look. I've lost over 60 lbs but I still feel fat. I look in the mirror and See FAT!  Plus I see KING CAKES everywhere its so hard to stay away from Carbs and sweets. Even though I'm keeping my calories under 800 my carbs are high. I'm still losing weight just not as fast as I'd like of course. 

I love to worship and Praise God.
I take care my Mother that is on Hospice.

Hi Sharie....Im in your shoes too not working and trying to keep busy. I was working prior to some family deaths and my health deteriorated for a bit (newly discovered heart condition) so I dont work and won't for a while according to my hubby. Carbs are hard girl but youre obviously doing great you're still losing. I am a carb ADDICT still after surgery. My weight fluctuates from 139-147. Crazy for such a deep flux but im working on it. I wish I could do 800 calories a day. My problem is that I dont get all my protein in anymore... ;( I've always struggled with that asect. Well good luck to u!!!  Hi, I am Amy.  I am a 35 year old , married , mom of 2,  Plus 2 German shepherds.I havegird sighted 14 years, and a son that is 10.  Live in Labadieville.  I recently had the POSE procedure done on November 15, 2011. I have lost about 30 pounds so far.  The pounds came on so fast, but go away so slowly.  My goal was to lose 75 pounds.  Glad to meet y'all!!

I had my RNY 12/08 no regrets. Im a social butterfly and love to reach out to others in my situation. Im still unable to post a stupid avatar pic (ARGGH)!! But I do have pics in my albums. Im ready for Mardi Gras YAY!! You guys?  I can eat whatever I want in moderation..I have since leveled off my weight loss and gained 10 lbs ;( BUT Im working on losing it. I dont care if the dr's do say its normal I've always watched my weight big and small. I hope everyone had a great new year and im in hopes that OH will have more locals in LA on here. Im Ginger...34 soon to be 35! Wife and mother in the BR area. I have lived here my whole like minus 2 years in California! I have my consult with my surgeon on the 9th. I waited 5 years to find insurance that would cover WLS. Fortunately my husbands company is amazing and decided that if you have a BMI over 40, you are approved. Mine is 42. I hope to see this page pick up also!!
