I sent them my approval letter in uhmmmmm.... August. My surgery date is march 21st, look to wait at least another 6 or 7 months. Your best bet is to look at the expiration date on your approval. What date is it good through?, and guess about 10 to 20 days before its expired.
For now, try to start losing weight on your own, the more you lose the better chances of no complications. And Vanessa is very serious about losing some before surgery. She can and will cancel your surgery if you dont drop the pounds. So drop as many as she told you to. You will have a pre-op visit with her a month prior to surgery.
I found a really good way of dropping it and lowering my blood sugar. So I'll let ya in on my secret. Campbells Vegeterian Vegetable soup. If your diabetic you will notice in about 4-6 days blood sugar will start to normalize and the weight falls off. I do a protien shake at least once a day, and soup 1 or 2 times a day. Drink lots of water. I do eat on weekends thats when I eat a little meat, but not as much as I used to. also a multi-vitamin a day

Thanks a bunch!!!! I know my surgery is about 6 or 7 months away but the good thing is my approval is good until 12/2012. I was thinking the same thing, if I jump start on my wl now it won't be so hard after surgery and plus I won't have as much to lose! Your secret sounds like a good idea and I can't wait to try it. I'll keep you posted on my journey and I hope you do the same.
