I was banded 7 years ago in Mexico by Dr. Kuri. I lost 140 lbs within the first 2 years. Eighteen months ago I was promoted to a high pace, stressful job that I like. The problem is the weight is coming back quickly. I am so afraid I can't seem to get a handle on it. I have gained 30 lbs. I know I need a fill but I don't  know where to go in Baton Rouge. It was a lot easier when I had better restriction. I was never hungry now I want to eat all the time. I also walked everyday. I realize I need to begin exercising again to relieve stress and burn calories. I'm a little perplexed because I have been under lots of stress in the last seven years but the past year I have turned to food again. I'm so disappointed in myself and embarrassed.

I would appreciate any guidance.

Thank you!

Teesha. you are a lifesaver. I had my appointment with Dr. Taylor this morning and he was great. I received a fill and lots of tips. Dr. Taylor's nurse was really great also.I was invited to attend the support group meetings.  I have a follow-up appointment in 30 days. Although I have had my band for over six years, it was good to have a quick refresher course on the dos and do nots.

I have also been trying to retract my steps over the last year to determine where I got off track. I see now that it was not overnight but a series of bad choices such as not exercising, not journaling, turning to sweets and not having anything in place to help relieve stress. I got off balance. I was putting all of my effort into work and putting my health and wellbeing on the back burner. Maybe someone reading can learn from my mistakes.

Have a great day and thanks again!
