apt's done so far !

my apt. with dr bellows is january 26th, so far i've gotten my cardio stuff done, seen my primary dr to get my records, did a sleep study, i saw a licensed clinical social worker for my psych. eval, but i'm having no luck with a nutritionist. anyone have any suggestions ??

i have asked around and called medicaid and no one seems to have one.. Bellows' NUT will only let you set an appt after you go for intitail visit and get their ref.... my appt is 1 week after yours.

thats what i was afraid of, i was trying to get all of that done before hand, i live about 40 miniutes from dr bellows office. i know several people travel much farther, but i was trying to be ahead of the game !

yeah i live about 2 hrs.  i have sleep study, pcp and psych eval done hopefully they except psych eval.. the cardio thing i was told by others that you should do that last cuz its only good for 1 month.. hey ya never know we might be having surgery around same time...

the place when i had the eval done, only lets you see the actual psych. dr if the therapist thinks you need to, so i'm hoping they do accept it.

yeah because i was told tgeir psych costs $300.. so i hope so too

Call all the area hospitals,someone will be cheeper or take medicaid.I have  had my appointment and done everything now,now im waiting for them to send  my  letter to medicaid  to get approval.TRY to get the nut done and to bring in everything when you go for  the appointment and possible they will write the letter while you are there.

I do wonder how all these people have Medicaid and have computers with internet access. Louisiana is know as the welfare state. I go to a local clinic who accepts Medicaid. They present their Medicaid card and are talking on their cell phones at the same time. I also wonder how they can afford a cell phone. Is there something wrong with this picture.?

um not that it is any of your business "martha"  but i have medicaid because my heart condition has left me disabled. yes i also have a cell phone, incase i have to dial 911. but i can't speak for anyone else.  you have a great day hun
