First visit to Dr. Bellows

I just got my first appt with Dr. Bellows! Supercited! Im hoping this one don't flake out like Dr. Steeb.  Thank you God!

We'll tickle your Dr. Bellows' voodoo doll with white feathers and oreo cookies to get his attention. GOOD LUCK sisterwoman.

Good Luck in your journey. I will be having my surgery on Sept 22 with Dr. Bellows. Hope that you will have yours soon.

How long does this process take from the first visit, till the actual surgery?

when is your first visit mines is september 1 and i'm also curiuos to what will happen my first visit with dr. bellows and how long it take to get approved

my first visit was in may, and i already had my sleep study and stress test done. Louisianacountrygirl................ sherri first visit was in july......... and she was approved last week. go ahead and send clearance for surgery letter from pcp, all records where u have tried to lose weight with md help and without. All records from hospital in last year. go ahead and try to get sleep study done before u see him if possible.

My first apt is wednesday as well, and I have sleep apnea, so I know i have records. Now my stress test was 2 yrs ago. I might have to have another one done. My appt is at 3pm, what time is yours?  Leigh

my appt. is for 2pm wednesday and i have to have all test done maybe i will see you there

your first visit you will meet Vanessa she is physician assistant, u will not meet dr bellows until a few weeks before surgery when u go for pre op. Vanessa will explain the band and sleeve procedure, do vital signs...................... then give you a print out with numbers to call to make appt that you need to get approved for surgery..................... a nutrionist visit, a psych visit if u have depression or some other mental health going on, physical therapist for exercises to do to get ready for surgery, and see a cardiologist to see if heart is ok for surgery, sleep study test if u haven't already done that, and a clearance letter from your pcp that he clears you for surgery. Go ahead and send all records pretaining to your weight loss over the past 5 yrs.
