I used Dr. Wooldridge at Ochsner in NOLA! He was absolutely WONDERFUL! My RNY went fabulously and I'm sooo forever appreciative for his patience and skill as a surgeon!! I highly recommend him to ANYONE!

I have had my consult with Dr. Borland in New Iberia, and he is who I have chosen to do my surgery.....I am scheduled for June 28!!!! WOOHOO!

Most surgeons won't accept medicaid for bariatrics in LA. Your best option is to go for self pay option.

I'm using Dr. Chung in Lake Charles. My brother used him 2 years ago and loves him. I've done some research and he checked out well. I'm not sure about the self pay amount, but you can call the Dr's office and ask.

I am using Dr. Borland in New Iberia. My surgery is scheduled for June 21 (I was originally scheduled for June 28 but moved it up for work reasons) Dr. Borland charges $9800....I can give you his contact number if you need it...

I used Dr. Wooldridge at Ochsner in New Orleans. He was great but my experience afterwards with the hospital and nurses was horrible. Was placed in a "semi private room" with nothing between me and the next guy but a curtain. He and his family learned all my medical history and my family learned all of his. No privacy what so ever. The cost was about 16,000 but I reccomend you find another hospital.
