Surgery Approved & Scheduled!!!

After an 8 month adventure, I have finally rec'd approval for my surgery and am scheduled to begin my new life on 9/15/09!!!

So  now...I need all the good advice I can get...any and all suggestions of how I should prepare and what I will need during those first several days and weeks after are most welcome!

To the OP:  What surgery are you having?  Best of luck to you for an uneventful surgery and a boring post op!

i'm in walker...having surgery in baton rouge...the lady that replied to me so nicely and gave me best wishes was in deridder.

i wanted the gastric sleeve but uch will not approve so i am having the bypass...my doctor comes very highly recommended so i feel good about the decision.

i start the preop liquid diet tuesday and have my surgery on 9/15...any suggestions for protein supplements?

You're welcome.  No, I don't have any protein supplement suggestions. Someone may answer it here but if I were you, I would go on the forum of the type of surgery that you are having and post this question.  Or better yet, ask your doctor/nutritionist.
