Lafayette area support groups?

Are there any support groups in the Lafayette area? I saw some dates posted on southwest's site but the dates only went until May I think. Does anyone have a group that meets more often than once a month? Do any of you just get together for fun and support?

sorry for all of the questions. I am trying to make sure I have a good support system and want to find out everything that is out there!

You might want to try Lafayette General Hospital Barriatrics program I know they have support group meetings
I went to one when I was thinking about surgery there. I decided to have it in Michigan but there support group was great there.

I attend the support group at Lafayette General. Contact Lisa w/ the Bariatric Support for Dr. Phillip Gachassin she will be able to give you all the info you need for these group meeting that get together once a month. I have no clue if they are just for his patients or open to the public. I have never met anyone that was not one of his patients but I don't see why in the world anyone could not come, I just think they don't advertise it that's why I never meet anyone else..lol..the more the marry!!!!!!!!!!! If you need any help with this info just ask & I try will to get what you need!

Hey Katherine! I will be having the gastric sleeve sept.21 with Dr. Gachassin. Havent found anyone else that goes to him. How was everything??
