Gayla is home ... I am running away from home

Thank you all for the prayers and support. Gayla is back home again. She got out of the hospital Saturday. It's still rough for her and she's trying to focus on the big picture.

On to Frances. I am running away from home this weekend and I got to see my daughter briefly in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm still a little weak from the dehydration, but seeing her made me feel much better.

I'm five weeks out from surgery and seeing some nice results ... not all complications. I'm about 32 pounds down since surgery and there was 15 pounds lost in the preop diet. Not too bad, I think.

Frances, just a little correction... I got out of the hospital Friday. LoL I hope you are having a great time and I'm glad you got to see your baby. I know it's been hard on you with her gone! Congrats on your weight loss. You're rocking your sleeve!

I am sorry for the blooper, but I'm kinda goofy these days and I'm losing track of days. See, I tried to quit my job so Friday was like my Saturday. So, I guess today has been my Tuesday?

I'm still reeling from weeks without my baby. She's doing great and is wondering why mommy is such a bawling fool all of a sudden -- she's having a ball.

Thanks for the kind words. Life is moving very quickly and I'm not sure if I'm ready for the weight loss success yet. I've not given this enough thought, so you are much better prepared mentally than I am.

I promise to start thinking about what I'm doing really soon.
