Gayla is back in ICU in Lafayette

Gayla has been sent back to the hospital in Lafayette. As of tonight, she's in ICU, but was in good spirits and we have relayed some text messages.

I don't have a lot of information on what's going on or how they plan to resolve her problems, but I will let you all know any updates I do know.

If there's anyone out there in or near Lafayette, please consider dropping in on her at Southwest. Please PM me if you think you can go and visit. I will try to go as soon as I can, but it might be closer to the weekend.

All my best,

Frances
PS: In case any one asks about "me." I am struggling with some dehyrdration and heat issues. I'm four weeks postop today, still sipping and unable to sweat (long story), so the Louisiana heat is getting the best of me and my world didn't stop spinning until about Noon today.

Gayla is doing better in the hosptial in Lafayette. I spoke to her while I was being admitted into the hospital in Baton Rouge. She was able to keep some food down and I am being treated for dehydration.

I'm sure I will be sprung tomorrow now that I can get some fluids in.

Prayers appreciated,

Frances
PS: I don't know where my glasses are, so pardon any typos.

 Frances!!!!

I'll have to read back to find out about Gayla.  I don't frequent here much, but I had you on my mind.  You've been sleeved!!!!

I'm sorry you've been struggling with the heat...  I think we all are.  It's frickin insane!  We had a bbq last weekend and I got 2 bags of the walmart ice (which we ended up not using) and I swear it is the best.  I've got a big cup full of it and I'm muching on it all day!  Helps keep my core temp down and helps me stay cooler in this stupid heat...  ugh.  Keep sipping!!

Miss you girlie!!!  HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, news flash: I'm a dried out banana!

The Sleeve is going well -- The heat is the usual hell.

I miss you too. Any chance y'all can start attending our meetings again. You two were a great addition to the group. You both have a lot to offer.

Take care,
Frances

I pray that you and Gayla get to feeling better real soon.
