DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID

Hi Ladies!

Lunch sounds great. However my son (3 year old) and my husband will be making the trips with me so if you don't mind the males im game.  ;)  Now, 9 weeks huh WOW ok I can do this. I would drive if I had to but, im glad they will let us do it over the net. That would help me out alot. So Savannah does it look like your approved then??? Dr. Steeb said no worried I was a prime candidate and would get approved but, the butterflies are killing me. I think once I see that letter that says APPROVED then I will 100% believe it. I'm also, very glad I found you ladies on here so we can share our experience's and just support each other.

i agree, nothing better than having friends to share the experience with!

im waiting on the approval letter in the mail. believe me i am checking my mailbox everyday praying i have good news. im scared to get too excited cause like you i wont feel any better til i see the approval letter. from what devin dr steeb's nurse said that medicaid approves you for a certain time period like your approved between now and lets just say january. so i dont know how the nutrition class will fit in. but i will let ya'll know as soon as i know something. devin and dr steeb both said that they have had no problem at all with medicaid approving people.

oh one more thing. i got my first week's "lesson" and its just to keep a food journal and email it back to them.

Dr. Steeb says he has a 2 month window to do the surgery from approval date. So Im sure they will work something out. Im hoping I can get my assignment on Monday so I can get this ball rolling!!!

i want to start with assignmnets too! i'm just to damn eager! bring it on! in the meantime i'm walking a lil bit every day! trying to get myself siked up! i found a pair of size 18 jeans in my closet, i can't wait to get back into them, thats my first goal!

 Today is 11-9 and my appt is 11-12 oh my i cant wait i am so excited!!!!!!

i know how you feel . . . i didn't sleep at all the night before my appointment!

I just spoke with my dietitian and shes emailing me the assignment sometime today. I do know the classes they have setup right now are full. So she said if you were having to come in once a week you would have to wait until the next class. However I'm confused Dr. Steeb said he had 2 months to do the surgery from the approval date. What if your not done with your classes? How does that work? I called Devon today and am waiting for her to call me back. I'm nervous that somehow every things going to over lap.

yea me too i asked the dietician and she said that she's sure dr steeb would work something out so i dont know hope everything works out.
