Hi ladies, I have posted on here a few times, but not lately. I was having to wait till jan 2010 to start my journey. I have the referral letter with me to fax in the morning. I spoke to a lady at one of those numbers( there are so many I have found ) and she said once she gets the letter I can call back and set up my first aptt in april. I can not even start to tell you what a god send this is. My bmi is 56, and im only 5"2. So heres wishing yall some luck, and please keep me updated once the ball starts rolling for yall.

Thank you for your reply.
Ok, I looked up gastric sleeve and it involves laproscopic removal of part of the stomach. and it states that Gastric sleeve surgery may be appropriate also for people who can't return for the follow-up visits required by gastric banding. So all in all this sound perfect for me. My BMI is 48 I have quite a few illnesses that losing weight will help to remedy. it will be a life saving ordeal for me.

well ladies I guess you have heard the news about Dr. Steeb. He's license are suspended and are not going to be reinstated until 5/31/10. Boy this is scary.
i had just talked to Gayle the office supervisor last week, and she only told that Devin is no longer there and that he will be back on april 1st.
I went on th site and checked his license out, and they are suspended. I am scared to let him do the Gastric Sleeve on me.
but I feel like there is still hope for us. So stay encouraged.
