DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID

Hi,I just called,but its to close to lunch and got a machine it asked for  my info and basically will contact me.I am gonna call them back although I did leave my  info.Ite was  postm need a revisian from lapband to sleave.My band is to small for my tummy and my stomach overhangs  at top of my band,I know its not normal.I throw almost everything up.I  have had everything emptyed and  its still this way.the doc that put  the band in says nothings wrong with my  band,lol,and anyhow has  said he will remove it but   my surgo,I  date was postponed and I am waiting on there office to get paperwork complteeted  due to my medicaid,no telling how long this will take.He will take it  out but has said he will not do a sleave or bypss for me.he says I had my chance and should have used my band better.So,I know I need this removed,if I  could get surgury all done at once I think it would be best for me.I am cautous of this though

How long does it take to have them make an appointment?

 I'm doing the same thing today...let's compare stories and see how everything goes.  

 What if i have seen a psychiatrist for my bipolar and my disability and have seen a nutrionist at SW Medical Center at Dr. Cunningham's.  I still need to see yet ANOTHER nutritionist (I've met quite a few)  and ANOTHER psychiatrist?   I am fully aware that I am bipolar and that I have to be medicated.  Is there a way around this.  I want to streamline this so that I may start classes in the fall for nursing.

I am thinking about getting a loan.

Do you have to do all the evaluations if you get a loan?

I saw the surgeon at LSU that yall are talking about. His name is Dr. Steeb and he is on Napoleon Ave the phone number is 412-1310. My surgery date is July 7th and it took me about 4 months to get everything done. I have Louisiana Medicaid and all i left to di is to see the shrink on June 30th. He is a good doctor and he does his surgeries at University Hospital.

What were the M'caid requirements and how long did it take for you to get an appointment after you submitted the referrel from your pcp?
