DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID

I totally agree, i really enjoyed the conversation. I was asking about the protein cause i went to winn dixie and i was looking at them cause i wanna know which ones are good and which are not lol. so i bought 2 different kinds and i didnt really know like what the deal was with the protein. i guess im just excited lol and thats the only thing i knew i would need. anyways yea we should definitely talk again. oh and make sure you remind me about that class please. i will forget. anyways ttyl

 froggie...i thought you had to wait for the nutrition class like me?  how did you get your date so fast?  so far you and i and now savannah are the only ones on here approved and i haven't heard a thing from down there in a month.  i'm really confused and a little stunned.  can you tell me how you got in the nutrition class when you were told you had to wait like me?  i just feel so out of the loop here because i am so far away.  i haven't even gotten my labs done because devon told me the last time i talked to her in mid november that i was looking at mid march..because of the 9 week nutrition class.  can someone please give me insight as to what the heck is going on?

i was having to wait, but some people dropped out of the class, so there was room for me. i guess because i am local and it's only 15 minutes away for me from my house to the center where the classes are being held. i also had to complete my mental evaluation, my blood work, and quit smoking, so when i went for my return appointment  with dr steeb he set my date! i guess i'm just lucky. actually i think it's all part of god's plan for me and everythign is meant to be, because it all fell into place.

 luck.  you had it with the nutrition class.  if there were no bad luck..i would have none at all...except every once in a while i have one of those days where everything i do seems to be sprinkled with fairy dust and four leaf clovers.  i'm due for one of those days!  

well i am happy for you.  when you recover a bit you can tell us how everything went and is going and all that jazz.  i'm really actually kinda glad i'm not the first.  cause i'm such a big baby...i would be too busy being a big baby to let you guys know how everything went.  

i go for my psych eval on the 6th..may stop in and hand deliver that approval letter that has almost expired.  btw...doc recommends nu whey as a protein supplement...some little fruity protein "shot" you can buy at wally world.    (i like the way he says orange  "ah-range")   i love yankees!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!    Did ya'll get anything good? I was so appreciative and surprised this christmas. My boyfriends mom got me christmas gifts and like 5 of them lol, I just havent gotten any for a long time. Like a year or so before my parents passed away. Anyways just got on to wish ya'll a merry christmas.

 i tell you what..i am having the hardest time this holiday season.  my brother and his lovely wife allison came down from north carolina.  and it is wonderful to see my brother and her...but my nephew..ju ju.  (his name is jonathan but somehow it morphed into juju)  is just so doggone rambunctious....but cute.   my boy is almost 7.  juju is 2....bret said he was tired and wanted a nap...juju said  "i wawa nap tooooooooooo"   so they had a siesta together and it was hella cute.   i met my new niece rebecca...(my  brother's daughter)   for the first time.  and i tell you what.....she stole my heart from the moment i laid eyes upon her...so much so...that i burst into tears at the thought of her going back to north carolina.  LADIES i'm ready to move to north carolina just to be around this pretty girl!  it breaks my heart that my brother and his family can't be here with us...but he is an ordainded minister and he is in seminary in north carolina....yeah i know call me selfish...but...if i could keep that rebecca i would....

so devon called me today and everything is postponed til march!!!! dr steeb had a emergency and wont be back til then this sucks but i pray for dr steeb and hope everything is ok.

crystal told me this also, but no one has called me . . . i'm scared to death, cuz medicaid called me today and she told me that i will no longer have medicaid after february!

I just got the call as well. Will Angel get her surgery???? I pray that she can I know she will be heat broken if it gets postponed.  Devon told me to mail in a copy of my medical records and then she will get me set up for my preop in March! Im starting to have my doubts. Has anyone got the surgery from Dr. Steeb??? I have messaged one person that was seeing Dr. Steeb but, he never got back with me. Just wondering.....have to keep all these negative thoughts out. Only good ones...heh heh.

yea i think angel will end up having to reschedule for march as well. this really sucks. but im guessing its very serious cause he's taking a long time off.
