DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID

 got my approval letter today.  surgery dates 12-1-09 - 02-1-10.  hopefully something will get worked out considering i won't start nutrition classes until after the new year.     it's weird to think that if the hospital hadn't started this new protocol...i would have been getting a surgery date very shortly.  but oh well...i wanted a little affirmation and i got it.  concerned about the dates though.  really concerned cause my medicaid is up for renewal in april or may.   wondering how that will affect my follow up care if i lose my medicaid coverage.     getting a little excited again.  just wi**** all wasn't so conflicting and confusing.    (i was looking forward to having the cutest little christmas dinner plate ever...but i guess that will be an easter dinner plate now.......and remember ladies  protein first!!!!  which means EASTER HAM!!! om nom nom!

 thank you!  i don't mean to be the gloomy gus of the board...but i'm nothing if not skeptical.  i've had sooooo many doors slammed in my face.  

 i think that if they made diapers for dogs...i would buy them...and might not mind changing them.  and put them in a little diaper genie for dogs.      but i think they wouldn't work because dogs don't lay still like infants.    and a mom doesn't mind changing the poopie diapers of her own infant.  but a dog maybe a different story.    (engage the gag reflex)     oh well it was just a thought.    i have a half rat terrier/half bassett and i keep telling myself....he's just a pup...he will calm down...he will stop tearing things up...he will stop making dirty on the rug.      just throwing that out there.....trying to keep it light with all this crazy stuff and road blockishness.

lol funny my cousin happened to abandon her jack russell puppy and i am having the same issue every time i am not looking the garbage is knocked down or she's making my dog mad which is a great dane and will eat her. lol no he isnt a mean dog but i still dont think its a good idea to make him angry and i DO NOT like dog poo!!! and it just seems to be never ending with this doggie.

 froggie..did your approval letter say vertical banded gastroplasty?  mine did.  that is TOTALLY not the same as vertical sleeve gastrectomy.  do you think a call to devin is in order..cause i was under the impression that it was the sleeve that i was going to be having...not the other one.  

mine said sleeve gastrectomy . . . i would find out about that asap! 

Hi Ladies

 Does anyone have Devons direct number? I have been trying to get her to call me back for 2 days and cant seem to get her. If I dont hear from her soon I might just go up to the office since I will be there anyway. 

I also noticed that it sad I was denied for some kind of band so I wonder why that is. Im going through with all my classes and pshyuc eval so no matter what im covering my butt in case im approved.
