DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID

 I have a pshy evl. tues here in town cause they cant see me in New orleans till after jan 6th. so just trying to get my things done so that i will have some of them out of the way when i do get approved cause i go back to work full time jan 2nd manager for tax office and that will be busy busy but they just better get ready i am taking off for sugery....

i was thinking of doing that too but i decided not to because it wont change the date ya know... so but my appt is dec 2 its a bit closer than yours i might would go ahead and do it to if mine was in jan just cause i am not patient at all

 The main reason i did it was cause i am a Manager for a Tax Office and i dont wanna loose my bonus money by having to be off and running to the dr, we are going on a cruise april 21, 2010 so i need all my bonus moneys to go ..lol so one less vist to New Orleans is a great help, I am 5 hours out...Lol i am not patient at all, and this waiting game really sucks!  

i talked to devin she said its because they changed forms and she resubmitted the new form and they should approve me now so.... hopefully. did you ever find out for sure if they would let you see your own nutritionalist or not?

I just called and was tole that they no longer perform the weightloss surgery.  I am sooooo upset. everytime I think that there is hope I am turned away again.

NO, i can't use my own nutritionalist/dietician . . . i'm kinda at a stand still till my appointment witht he shrink on December 16th then i see steeb again on the 17th. i have to wait till after the new year for the next classes to start.

however, they have just increased my meds for diebetes, i'm trying to get some exercise and diet, but it's not helping the crazy high sugars i'm having. 



and to those of you also wanting WLS, don't give up, it's been a long road for all of us, your time will come!

oh wow that sucks.... maybe they will start doing it once the nutrition class starts again... im sorry just keep trying its been going on 2 yrs i have been trying and finally got somewhere just dont give up on it and hopefully they will start soon again.

but . . . . it says my approval dates for surgery are from 01.01.2010 - 03.01.2010 . . . that's a problem considering
i can't even get into the class with the nutritionist for the nine week class until after the new year. i have put my call in to devin to see if she can help work a miracle for me. plz keep

Have you spoke to DEvon yet?? I hope she can really work you in! Looks like we all are having issues!
