DOC AT LSU IN NEW ORLEANS TAKES MEDICAID
i have diabetes and a sleeping issue. pain in my knees and ankles and back. still waiting to get approved though. i dont want to jump the gun and go telling everyone im getting it when i havent been approved yet. my dad used to work in sorrento right behind the mcdonalds right off interstate. anyways lol watching my daytime tv.....
My appointment was on Oct. 29. My pscyh eval is not until Jan 6. I have not heard from the nutritionist yet to set up my email assignments. I was told that the university has mandated the 9 week program that THEY designed and you cannot use your own nutritionist. I was also told that Medicaid makes the first approval....which is a shoe in..."we haven't had anyone denied yet" but with the new program at the university.....University Hospital ALSO has to approve your surgery. Either I knew the right questions to ask and got the full story..or i'm getting wind blown up my skirt. Either way...I will feel much more at ease once the nutritionist contacts me. If I haven't heard from them by monday...i'm calling devin back. Plus I never heard the 2 month window thing.
All I know is that I can't let anything get in my way. Devin told me I was a great candidate for the surgery. (5'10" 423lbs....sleep apnea, htn, chronic edema, etc.) To come this far and have it all fall apart would be devastating.
