Hi!!  This is my first post to the forum.  I'm going on two weeks post op from receiving the lapband.  Funny, I don't feel different other than the port site is still a little tender.  I haven't experienced any vomiting, nausea or regurgitation.  That's a good thing.  Right now my biggest challenge is curbing my appetite while I remain  on a full liquid diet for 4 more weeks.  Kinda getting bored with jello and broth.  Any suggestions?  I appreciate any advice given.  Looking forward to making new friends through the forum as well.

Congratulations on your surgery!  It is amazing how long each doctor/nut has you on the liquid phase.  Thank God I only had to be on jello and broth one week and I was able to move on to creamy soups.  Before my surgery, I made gumbo and beans and I usuaally have lots of broth/juice left over. So, I drained the meat /beans and froze my "gumbo juice" and "bean juice" and it was so yummy.
