anyone had surgery at Woman's in BR?

I was scheduled to have my surgery at baton rouge general...it was changed to Woman's in BR. No biggie b/c the surgery is now the 13 instead of the 14. And I'm freaking out because their pre-op is done in 2 parts...on a Friday and then go back the following Wednesday. And I CANNOT miss work on Friday, I'm a teacher and that is right smack in the middle of our testing (LEAP) and I can't miss work...just nervous they will not let me manuever the days.

Just ranting any info would help

I didn't have my VSG at Woman's but I did have 2 of my babies there and they are wonderful.  I understand about you not being able to miss work but did they say why it had to be done in 2 parts.  I guess just call and talk to them and see if they can set it up for Monday and Friday of the following week if there needs to be so many days between the first and second visit.

2 people that I know had their surgery there.  One is Tangi.  She is on this site.  She is awesome.
