Need to "get with it!" - HELP
OK, I had my VSG 16 months ago and I've lost 121 lbs. and lots of inches BUT I'm at a standstill with the weight loss . . do I know the reason???? Of course I do . . I'm not eating what I'm supposed to, not drinking my water, not exercising like I should . . DUH!!!! This one is easy to figure out . . I just gotta get with it . . after I hit the one year mark it just seems like I started to be way more lax in what I am supposed to be doing . . I'd like to lose another 15 lbs. . HELP! I know what I gotta do, but what am I going to do to get it in my mind to JUST DO IT!!!! Thanks to everyone for the support -- because this is what this site is all about . . FAYE

Hey my friend!!!!! I'm so sorry you are at a standstill. I am in no position to give you advice or have no way of knowing what to tell you because I haven't gotten to your place yet. However I can tell you what my plans are if I have a stall. That was hard to get out because I refuse stalls and try not to say it...no I'm not superstitious but I am avoiding the word like a plague but am smart enough to "think I have a plan" LOL. My plan only consists of rethinking where I started and following it through. Liquids then mushies. I think one week of liquid soups, yogurt, etc and then following it by 1 week of mushies, refried beans, cottage cheese, eggs etc. is what I'm going to do. Who knows I could be delusional and way out of my box but I will try.
Huge hugs. Can't wait to see you at our support group meeting!

I like your "plan" . . I surely need to rethink where I started . . I enjoyed reading your blog on OH and WOW --- 50 lbs. in 3 months . . you're doing wonderful!!! CONGRATS TO YOU! I will surely see you at the support group meeting --- just seeing everyone and hearing success stories at those meetings is a great help for me . . looking forward to seeing you and keep up the good work and thanks for the encouragement . . I will "get with it" and hopefully will have a success story to share with you at the next meeting --- FAYE

Wow, look, it's two of my fav ppl in the same post! I want you both to know how much I thank God for each of you. You both inspire me to be better! I can't believe that I'm here. That I'm in the solution part of the problem. And that I'm on this journey with such fantastic people! A year ago I didn't know either of you! And a year ago I was so miserably hopeless where recovery from food issues was concerned. Today I am walking out this miracle with each of you to share it with me. My ups. My downs. My inbetweens. I pray for each of you today that God smiles on you today. Seeing you only once a month is not enough. I say, Let's do a mid month dinner or something together. We could include our hubby's if you'd like. And we could resturant hop if you'd like. Maybe we'll start something new in this area. I know of a few folks that would join us in a heartbeat! Big Big hug to you both and lots of love your way today! Marie
Good hearing from both of you . . yes, can you believe a year ago we didn't know each other??? . .I enjoy getting together with friends, and especially those that have had the surgery and can relate with them . . I had considered the cruise that they are talking about on OH board --- will be people that have had the sleeve and I think it will be lots of fun to share stories and just interacting with people in the same "boat" (so to speak) . . but it leaves out of Florida and I'm thinking it will cost too much at this time . . but getting together here sounds great --- let's make it happen! --- even if it's just for a cup of coffee . . Hi Faye,
This journey is not an easy one. I am having trouble too. But I too know what I need to do. I have just been so busy but I've got to make more time to continue my journey.
