Dr Warden??

Has anyone ever dealt with Dr Warden from Covington?  I read lots of good comments from some of his past patients.  I even had a brief visit with him several weeks ago.  Seemed like a nice guy.  However, when I posted him as my surgeon on my profile, I got two messages indicating I should do additional research.  Both people indicated they know or knew of cases where his patients had post op complications.

He’s the only doctor that does the DS at the hospital I’m going to and I know there tends to be more complications with this particular surgery, but it concerns me when two people indicated I should research this guy more.  Thanks.

I know that Surgical Speciality cares about their reputation and I don't believe they would employ a doctor that they do not feel is competent.  I don't know Dr. Warden, but I would ask those who expressed concern for more information. 

I used Dr. Thomas with SSL and I was very happy with their group.  I know a Lap Bander and a VSG who are working with Dr. Warden and they have both been happy with him.

Surgical complications will happen.  Especially with a more involved procedure like a DS.  You can ask Dr. Warden for his complication rate and how comfy he feels with surgery.
