Canceling La Invasion

I'm going to have to cancel the Louisiana Invasion that I was planning for June in Sulphur.  We have some large work projects going on right now and my boys are involved in allot of extra-curricular activies so it's just not possible for me to get things together. 

Our plans now are if things settle down to try to do something in the Fall after Hurricane Season.  We really had a good time last year (friends from Texas came down, about 50) so I definitely hope to do this again and have it.

I know several of y'all expressed interest in coming, I apologize for having to do this but I'm sure you all understand how life is busy and if you have children how that can be.

Wanted to throw in that our group is planning the Baton Rouge Walk from Obesity for October 3 --- trying to avoid August or September hurricanes.

If you want to talk about some collaborations around that time, I'm all ears.

I would love to show our Texas kin a really good time and raise some awareness at the same time.

Gosh do I understand.  I had penciled in the date you had mentioned and have had so many things come up...a few weeks ago I scheduled family pictures and the first available weekend was the same date.  I'm glad I went ahead and scheduled the pictures, I thought I would just let the kids do it and they don't need me there with them.  I guess we will all do it again....
