Hi gang!

I'm a sleever-to-be up here in Ohio. I'm a self pay patient who is looking for a cost effective, quality VSG.

I saw Dr. Borland's name on the main board.

Has anyone here used him? How was your experience? Are you satisfied? Does he have a website?

I haven't used him, but am scheduled to see him next Wednesday (28) and am going to be self pay also, and no I haven't seen a website for him either, I've googled him on the internet and it gives you some information but I will update you on what I find out next week. Have you checked out Dr Pleatman in WI? He is Super nice and I will use him if I am not happy with Dr Borland next week. I have personally spoken with Dr Pleatman already and one thing that I really really liked is that the hospital cost and his cost is covered no matter what, the only extra expense you will incur, not even ICU charges, would be if you needed a specialist i.e. heart doc due to blood pressure or something like that but he would try everything before calling in backup and costing you money NO HIDDEN COSTS. He calls you personally and emails you personally. Just a thought Although he's about 1500 more that what I heard Dr Borland is. I had Dr Borland nad he was awesome.  I am going for my 3 month checkup (he does this with locals) next Tue.  You can read my blog and surgeon review if you want to see more.  Or feel free to PM me and I will answer any questions that I can.

Dont't forget that you can deduct costs on income tax.  I just got a huge rebate!
