Att: Baton Rouge and surrounding areas...

I was wondering if there are any support groups or meetings, or if we should start one if there arent any?


I'd love to meet up with any or all of yall within this area and share our stories and advise!

Hello Jessica,

The New U support group meets the first Thursday of each month at Our Lady of rhe Lake Hospital. Any postop group members are welcome to attend. Because of the New Year's holiday, we will meet Thursday, January 8th this month.

What Frances didn't tell you is that we have a BLAST!  It's a great time and spouses and significant others are welcomed.  Also, Frances usually brings a movie or something for kids.  There's a food spread too--cheese, coldcuts, fruit, cold water etc.  Come and have some fun while we do this dance of recovery!  Big hug, Marie

I wish I could but I cant make thursdays due to having this kinna brain rehab thing every thursday.......sounds like fun though!
