UHC insurance cover sleeve for anyone???

I have arranged to be self pay, but has UHC covered the sleeve for anyone? I can find other things to do with that $$$ if so! It is not mentioned on their website, only RNY and Band.

UHC varies by employer. I would contact them directly to see if it is covered by your specific employer's plan. Good luck to you.

I was denied for the sleeve at the beginning of Dec 2008, even though someone in my office had the same exact insurance as myself and in fact, she was approved on the first go round! The only thing I can figure is that the reviewer messed up and okay'd it. I was told at my initial appointment with the doctor that UHC does not cover the sleeve.
