Ok my fellow Surgical Specialist of LA patients please provide me with the scoop on this move. I went tonight for support group only to learn the practice is no longer in Metarie. Needless to say - I am a bit perturbed.

Wow! That's news to me! I just spoke to the nut after surgery on Wed., & we were commenting on the great support group they had on Mon. nights in Metairie. She never said anything about that happening. Please let me know what you find out.

I just called the office and the Metairie office is closed and will open in a new location in February. I wonder why we were not notified.

I received an email from Lynn Boyer apologizing for not notifying the patients. Pretty much what I gather is that this is temporary and I think a bit unplanned. They did call the December patients and were going to start calling the patients scheduled for January. She gave no indication where the new office is going to be located in Metairie.

Hi,I too found out the hard way that surgical speacialists moved. The new office is in slidell right off of 265 I know cause' I've been there twice this week. Mrs. Sharon said that the Metairie office should reopen sometimes in late Jan. or early Feb. any new info that you get please pass it on.

Apparently they outgrew space at Omega so they should be opening their new office at Lakeside-Tulane in Metairie in Feb.

For everyone who does not know. Souther surgical is now re-opend @ Tulane- Lakeside hospital Yipee!!!!!!!!! No more trips to Slidell.
