lafayette area support group??

hey guys do yall know if there is any informal support groups around lafayette? i know lafayette genreal has one but i think it is just for dr gachassin patients? i am haveing my surgery done in new orleans but i live in erath right outside of lafayette.

I believe they do at Southwest, to be sure you could call and see , by the way if you don't mind me asking since you live alot closer to Lafayette why arent you having it done here instead?

cool deal wel i am hopeing to be able to have a meeting maybe in january. of course it would be members self pay for there own meals, i hope that didnt sound to mean it is just in some groups people dont pay and in some people do i just wanted to make it clear that this would be a group that would self pay. throw out some ideas for restraunts if you want okay. thanks and god bless 

So you are not buying for a bunch of people you dont even know LOL!  How dare you LOL.

As for restraunts I am preytty open.  Somewhere with good appitisers since I know none of us can finish a regular meal.  Some of my favs are:

Copelands (for a while they had these taster disher really small portions of regular food most people order a couple but I am not usre if they have them anymore)
Zeas
Coyote Blues

But if anyone has other places I am not picky

sounds good to me i was thinking maybe the 31 of january we could go and maybe have dinner or lunch whatever is good for you. i wish we had more people to join us but maybe if we start small we will be able to grow. let me know what you think okay. thanks and god bless
