It was a pleasure to meet you both. Thank you so much for attending the support group meeting on tonight. I enjoyed listening to the experiences that you have encountered since WLS. Hey Faith ... so sorry it took so long to respond.... I haven't been on the boards a lot lately. I really enjoyed the meeting and can't wait for the next one. I am hoping the my sister will make the next meeting with me - she has been such a huge support system to me during my times of struggle.
I'm still not getting in the liquid or protein levels that I should... but am trying. We went to Christmas in the Park tonight to see all the light displays and got in some good walking... did you go? It was so pretty and the hayrides were fun too!

Lap Band on 02/14/07

That's okay...it is the holidays and everyone is usually busy. I missed the Christmas in the Park. I went to New Orleans over the weekend and I got back late Saturday night. Oh the holiday pounds that I have to lose! I did not eat much but what I did eat was CARB HEAVY!

I was a self pay ... so not much help here... try calling around to see who in your area does the surgery and then ask if they accept.

I know b 4 the hurricane they had a Dr. at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans that was taking it but I don't remember his name and not sure if he is still there, sorry

Hi Faith, I'm originally from Louisiana nad have never heard of Fleur De Lis, LA. Where is that located?

Are you also the same girl from Fleur De Lis who posts on the Lap Band Forum?

Hi there. No, I don't believe there is such a place as Fleur De Lis Louisiana. I have just recently become avid collector of fleur del is items. I live in a small town in Southwest Louisiana. I do post from time to time on the Lap Band Forum. Nice to meet you.
