11/20 is my surgery date so I will hopefully be able to attend another meeting! i am here @ Fort Polk and Dr Barnes in Shreveport is doing my surgery, I know that I won't always have time to drive to Shreveport for a good swift kick in the seat of the pants when I am down and out So am glad to know that there might be a support group as close as DeRidder!
Congrats on your surgery date! I will keep in contact with you to check on you. I will send you my information via message/note. I am so excited for you! Since you can't make this one, the next meeting is on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Beauregard Parish Library.

Went to Shreveport 11/11 had the endoscopy done and suprised the dr when I came out of it awake.. granted I was silly as all get out ( dr came in the room and I had the O2 Sensor clipped on my nose) but everything was great! I am done with my pre op and just waiting for this time Next week when I will be in Shreveport trying to get calmed down for surgery on 11/20!
