I thought about it... and really am still thinking... but I doubt I go... that is so soon after my surgery that I am not sure I want to be away from home.

Yes it may be a little too soon for you. Is the "normal" recovery time usually very long with the type of surgery you are getting?

I've seen some people return to work in about 10 days... but I think I am going to stay out longer... just to give myself time to get acclimated to the new way of eating. A lot of my work revolves around lunch meetings... and I don't want to expose myself to that until I am totally ready. I am totally pumped on the surgery ... one week from today - woohoo
