Hurricane Gustav! I Hate You!

Hello OH Family,

For and foremost, let me say to anyone who was personally affected by Hurricane Gustav, or who had family or friends affected, that I pray for a safe recovery for all.

Next, due to Hurricane Gustav, and the massive evacuation of this entire region, my consent appointment which was scheduled for yesterday with Southern Surgical Specialists of LA. did not happen.  I'm also scheduled for surgery on 9/9/08.  This also will probably have to be rescheduled.

I have left messages and emails with SSL asking for someone to contact me to at least let me know something.  Is anyone else in my shoes?? Does anyone know what SSL is planning to do for upcoming surgeries?  Does anyone have an additional phone number or email address for them they could share?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Again, I bid a safe return and recovery for all those who were affected by the storm.

i feel what your going through. my vsg was sched for 9/16/08 they told me it has 2 b resched. i'm still waiting on SSL 2 call me back with a new date. i have 2 attend the sleeve class tomorrow in covington,i also was 2 meet with dr.lavin and anesthesia....but that's postponed. connie is the person that books the surgeries. all i can tell u is 2 keep calling, i lucked up and they answered instead of their voicemail......good luck!!!!!
